How much will it cost?

Green Shed Media charge a fixed hourly rate of £30 an hour for all digital work. To give you some idea of how this translates to your site:

A standard sized web page like the one your viewing now - usually takes between two and five hours to complete. So a small five page website (like this one) will cost somewhere between £300 and £750.
Can you update an existing website?

It depends on what software the website was originally created in. If it was in Joomla or Rapidweaver, then yes. Green Shed work primarily using Realmac Rapidweaver which is the leading website application for Apple computers.
How long will it take?

A small five page website will take between 10 and 25 hours of work to complete. Including initial consultation, acquisition of domain name and receipt of client's content, most websites are completed in 2 - 4 weeks.
How will I update my website?

There are two options:
1) Either email edits to James and he will update in 1 - 3 working days.
2) If you have an Apple computer, James can give you guidance on how to install the software onto your computer and then help show you how to make edits yourself - giving you complete control over your new website.

Most clients opt to send edits to James as and he can make changes very quickly.
What do you need from me?

Great question!

As much content as possible. So for example:

• Any written content you want to be included on your site (if you require us to proof read and check for spellings & typos we can do this at the same hourly rate as web work.)
• Any photographs & video content you want on your site.
• Prices for the services you will be offering on your website.
• Contact information you wish to share.
• Links to your social media pages you wish to share.
• Testimonials.
